The Gingersnap Band

      The Gingersnap Band is a jazzy band based in NYC, comprised of husband and wife Arjana and Ivan Danylets, frequently performing as a duo, trio, or quartet. They are known for their unique takes and creative arrangements of tunes new and old, blending their love of a timeless melody with creative reinterpretation of songs. Their influence comes from their unique mix of backgrounds. Arjana is an accomplished musical theater performer, jazz singer, and violinist from NYC; and Ivan, a jazz pianist from Ukraine. Both graduated from world-class conservatories with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music. Music brought them together, and since forming The Gingersnap Band in 2017, they have toured land and sea sharing their artistry with audiences worldwide.  At home in New York City they’ve been featured in special collaborations, radio appearances, and concerts at the renowned West Bank Cafe, Arlene’s Grocery, Brooklyn Music Kitchen, and multiple Manhattan clubs. International concerts include Bangkok, Melbourne, Kyoto, and Odesa, residencies at the Ritz Carlton in Osaka Japan, on luxury riverboat and ocean cruises, and fly-on/guest entertainer shows at residential event centers and ships. They have two full albums "Us Now" and "Caribbean Manhattan" available on all platforms.
